About this event
Adult Caregiving
Caring for an aging parent is a role filled with love, but it also comes with a unique set of challenges. Join us for a monthly gathering designed to offer both emotional support and practical guidance. Whether you need to vent, share a story, or learn from experts, you'll find a community that understands.
This month, Laurie Hauptman, Esq. of Hauptman & Hauptman, P.C., will be presenting on the following topics:
What families need to know when executing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
Who has the legal authority to make decisions and the importance of choosing the right agent(s).
Why it is important to put a plan into place and have documents ready.
General overview of the Medicaid application process.
There will also be time for Laurie to answer questions from attendees.
