About this event
The Southampton Free Library is teaching and playing modern board games for adults (18+).
You don't need familiarity with Board games or a super-strategy brain. Just come with a willingness to learn and a friendly attitude. We have our own collections of board games (over 100 including games like Wingspan, Root, Carcassone, Skull, Ark Nova, Mysterium, and many more), but feel free to bring your own. The goal is to chill out for a few hours with some games and friendly conversation.
What you can expect:
A varied collection of modern games
A quiet and peaceful play space, with plenty of table room for games
A friendly and helpful teacher
An inclusive (LGBTQ+ and BIPOC) and welcoming safe place for fun and relaxation
Free parking
