About this event
The New Haven Bird Club (NHBC) is joining us for a variety of hands-on lessons and activities all about birds and birdwatching, to spread the joy and beauty of observing birds and nature up close!
For this third session, we'll learn about bird migration. More than half of Connecticut birds fly south for the winter. Many migrate thousands of miles to Central and South America. Learn about how birds navigate on their long journeys. We'll read a book and play a migration game that shows some of the hazards/challenges birds face along the way.
