Young Makers Society

About this event

Beginning in October 2026, kids ages 6-12 can join Miss Emily for our new Young Makers Society. Session dates for Fall/Winter 2026 are: Monday, October 12th and 19th, November 2nd, 9th, 16th, and 23rd, and December 7th and 14th. All sessions take place at 5:30pm. Young Makers Society will be 8-session programs, each focusing on an aspect of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). Each session during Fall/Winter 2026, participants will explore an Engineering Topic through stories and a hands-on challenge. The final session, held December 14th, will be a showcase where students will show their families what they learned. Registering for this program signs your child up for all 8 of the sessions! A parent or guardian must stay in the library if the child is under 8 years old. Space will be limited and registration is required. Please call 716-674-2928 or stop by the library to register!
