Artist Statement: Elizabeth Bloom is an Arlington, Virginia-based painter, illustrator, and designer whose work blends the timelessness of nature with the elegance of fashion illustration. Known for her whimsical approach to visual storytelling, she draws inspiration from botanical landscapes, coastal destinations, vintage ephemera, and fashion photography, transforming everyday moments into richly layered watercolor and mixed-media compositions. Working primarily in watercolor, ink, and oil pastels, Elizabeth balances thoughtful detail with spontaneity, creating expressive works that celebrate color, texture, and the beauty of the natural world through a lens that feels both timeless and deeply personal.

Her artistic practice is rooted in a lifelong love of illustration that began at just four years old, exploring the stacks of her local library and flipping through the pages of Winnie-the-Pooh . Today, exhibiting her work in a library holds special meaning, bringing her artistic journey full circle and allowing her to share the same sense of wonder and imagination that first inspired her. Elizabeth has collaborated with notable lifestyle and fashion brands, including Tuckernuck, Tysons Galleria, and Serena & Lily. Her work has been featured in Southern Living , Style Blueprint , In Her Studio , Northern Virginia Magazine, Arlington Magazine , and other publications.

Light refreshments will be served.
