ASC Culture Blocks Clayworks Pottery Workshop for Families

About this event

Join Clayworks for this free hands-on clay making workshop where you will learn to make a one of a kind clay project that will last a lifetime. All materials and supplies will be provided.

This program is intended to be a family experience. It is recommended participants be at least 3 years old (young children will need hands-on assistance from their caregivers). Please register the number of people who want to complete a project .

Projects will travel to Clayworks after the program to be glazed and fire before being returned to the library for pickup. Please allow 3-5 weeks for delivery.

Clayworks will feature a different artist or technique each workshop. To ensure the safe and timely delivery of your projects, all participants are requested to maintain the same general shape and size of the demonstrated project.

This workshop is sponsored by Culture Blocks— a community partnership between ASC, Charlotte Mecklenburg Library and Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation to bring arts and cultural experiences closer to where residents live. Culture Blocks is funded by Mecklenburg County.
