About this event

MOJA Design Studio’s 2026 fashion collection is inspired by Nut, the ancient Egyptian goddess of the sky, and reimagines her celestial realm as a symbol of protection, resilience, and renewal. Through contemporary couture, the collection celebrates the eternal cycles of the sun and moon and the promise of a new dawn, reminding us that light will always return.

This event is a collaboration between the Egyptian Cultural and Educational Bureau (ECEB), Embassy of Egypt, and the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Art, and under the auspices of H.E. Mohamed El-Molla, Ambassador of Egypt in Washington.
