GLT-8200: Emergency Preparedness

About this event

RentingSmart Academy, offered through the Department of Neighborhood Services and Rent Ready Norfolk, provides free courses to help renters, landlords, and property managers make informed housing decisions. This session covers essential emergency preparedness for both renters and landlords—from building an emergency kit and understanding evacuation plans to maintaining safety equipment and staying informed about local risks. Landlords will also learn how to create effective emergency plans and communication systems for tenants. Our special facilitator is Scott Mahone, Deputy Emergency Management Coordinator for the City of Norfolk. Register today!
