About this event
Halloween special – costumes encouraged! Episode 9: “The Two Towers” Gather ’round the tape deck to listen to the 1981 BBC full-cast radio production of The Lord of the Rings, adapted by Brian Sibley! Bring a craft to work on, or a copy of Lord of the Rings to follow along. Thirteen hour-long episodes will take us from the Shire to Mordor and back, then off to the Grey Havens. This radio drama is an entertaining and accessible way to get deeper into the lore of Middle-Earth, and teen and adult services librarian Jeremy will help research any questions and offer broader context. All ages thirteen and up are welcome! Everyone deserves storytime. Monday evenings from 6 – 7:30p in the Rochambeau Russian Study Room.
