About this event
The Fair Lawn public library will present a trio of jazz musicians (bass, bassoon & piano ) each of whom have established themselves securely as consummate professionals in the music scene.
The following is ja short list of artists they have collaborated with:
Bassist Mark Peterson has worked with Cassandra Wilson, Clark Terry & Joan Baez.
Pianist Matt King has performed with Chris Potter, Phoebe Snow & Blood Sweat & Tears
Bassoonist Michael Rabinowitz has played with Ira Sullivan, Elvis Costello & Joe Lovano
On Sunday afternoon November 1st from 2:00 to 3:30 this trio will explore the works of Miles Davis, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane and original works. There will be a surprise guest clarinetist/saxophonist and there will be an interlude of Poulenc’s music in between the jazz.
