Join us for a variety of drop-in activities in the Children’s Museum every day, all included with admission. IN MAKESHOP: Build a Crytid – Use sewing methods to recombine parts and pieces of stuffed animals into new species Oct 22 – Nov 4 IN THE ART STUDIO: Monster Village – Create monster to add to a collaborative town where every creature has a place to live. Oct 29 – 31 Hojalata Painted Mural – Create a painting on a metal canvas that tells a story about your favorite memory as we get inspired by Mexican painted aluminum folk art. Oct 29 – Nov 11 Mundillo Lace Cards – Use thread to create patterned cards inspired by Puerto Rican folk art. Oct 29 – Nov 11 Community Ofrenda – Explore the tradition of the ofrenda by creating an artwork or kind message to celebrate the memory of someone special to you. Oct 29 – Nov 24 Included with Museum admission.
