What's the best way to celebrate a birthday? By inventing something amazing.
In this hands-on STEAMScene workshop, first and second graders will use littleBits — snap-together, magnetic, color-coded electronic building blocks — to create their very own celebration invention inspired by birthday parties. No prior experience with electronics needed. littleBits makes circuitry approachable and endlessly creative, so every child leaves with something they built themselves.
Space is limited to 12 participants. Registration is required, and a caregiver must remain in the Library during the program.
Children's Library Refund Policy
This is a free program for those who attend. Because of the limited number of students, you will be charged $25 upon registration. Your deposit will be refunded less credit card processing fees upon attendance or notification of inability to attend sent to mpastel@westportlibrary.org a week before the program starts AND if we can fill your spot.
Registration is NOT transferable. A caregiver is to remain at the Library during the class.
