About this event

The South Creek Book Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month to discuss a new book!

November's selection is The librarianist by Patrick deWitt.

Bob Comet is a retired librarian, isolated but not lonely, spending his quiet days in a mint-colored house in Oregon, surrounded by books and small comforts. A simple act of kindness leads Bob to a nearby senior center, where he begins volunteering and finds himself forming unexpected friendships. When an encounter with someone from his past disrupts his peaceful routine, Bob begins to reflect on the events, loves, and choices that have shaped his life. It is a compassionate and quietly humorous celebration of literature, friendship, and the extraordinary within an ordinary life.
