About this event
Throughout the semester, FSU Sustainable Campus and the FAMU-FSU Gulf Scholars Program are hosting a series of events focused on the importance of Florida's Gulf Coast, our connection to its waterways, and how we can work together to protect them. On Thursday, November 5, from 5:30-7:00 PM, join us for a Gulf Salon hosted at MoFA! FSU School of Dance professor and choreographer, nia love, invites you to explore your relationship with water in new ways. Participants will take part in a guided movement activity centered on Gulf waters, then enjoy a guided tour of love’s exhibition, Floating Metal: UNDERcurrents In My Father’s Garden. Come experience the Gulf through art, movement, and conversation! This event is free and open to the public. Free parking will be available in the Call St Garage after 5:00 PM.
