About this event
Major national events and changes in the law have shaped Chester County in ways both big and small. From the American Revolution and the Declaration of Independence to the Civil War, the Civil Rights Act, and changing laws around voting and immigration, moments of national change have had a local impact.
Join Ellen Endslow, Senior Curator at the Chester County History Center, to explore how these pivotal moments influenced Chester County and the people who lived here. Along the way, discover how ordinary people have helped shape our county and country and continue to be part of an ongoing story of change.
