"Growing Up Bronx" Art Exhibition

Wilton Library is pleased to present Growing Up Bronx, a solo exhibition by local artist Connie Manna. Connie Manna is a New York–based artist, born and raised in the Bronx, and a graduate of the School of Visual Arts. Her work is deeply inspired by New York City, particularly the Bronx, and explores memory, place, and the passage of time. She works primarily in acrylic and oil, and has exhibited throughout New York and beyond. She is also a professional teaching artist who shares her passion for painting with students of all ages and abilities. Manna’s paintings capture quiet, fleeting moments in urban and rural settings, transforming familiar scenes into dreamlike, surreal images. Growing Up Bronx is on view from November 23 thru December 30, 2026. Opening Reception on Friday, December 4th from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. is free and open to the public. A majority of the works will be available for purchase with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the library.
