We'll be screening The Ladykillers (1955); PG; 90 minutes.
In this classic black comedy, five oddball criminals, led by dapper thief Professor Marcus (Alec Guinness), pose as classical musicians and rent rooms from octogenarian widow Mrs. Wilberforce as part of their plan to rob a bank. But when Mrs. Wilberforce turns out to be more of a problem than the thieves bargained for, their careful plan falls apart and they run into one problem after another—eventually getting exactly what they deserve!
