About this event

Introducing Build Zone! This hands-on engineering program gives students the space to work together, with goals of designing, building, and troubleshooting real-world projects. You can expect electric skateboards, wind turbines, and other innovative creations. It's perfect for both middle school and high school students.

Starting Monday, November 9, Build Zone participants will turn cardboard boxes and everyday materials into their very own arcade games! Inspired by Makedo’s Four Fun DIY Arcade Games , students will imagine, design, and build games that others can play.

Over two weeks, they’ll put their creativity and problem-solving skills to work as they construct their games, test them out, and make improvements. On November 16, we’ll wrap up by playing the finished creations and celebrating the young makers behind them.

Think pinball, mini golf, and other games limited only by their imaginations!
