Chez Invades The Rockwood Museum-Opening reception

About this event

Join the Invasion! Wilmington artist, Chez of Spaceboy Clothing, is debuting a new public art installation at Rockwood Park & Museum! After years of perfecting his signature graphic designs and installing hand-painted robot signs all over Wilmington and Philadelphia, Chez has joined with Rockwood to explore the 1800s origins of science fiction with an unforgettable art installation. Contrasting against Rockwood’s historic façade, this Chez original sculpture will connect today’s visitors with the best of the past. This free reception will combine tours of the exhibition and Rockwood Museum, DJ entertainment, firepits, tasty beverages and snacks from Scout Cafe and a flying lantern release at dusk organized by Coastal Alchemy. This public art installation was made possible by a grant from the Delaware Division of the Arts.
