Presented by First State Heritage Park

Dig into Delaware's history!

Step back in time and discover the story of the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), o ne of the most fascinating and impactful programs of President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s New Deal!

In this fun and interactive history program, kids and families will become history detectives as they examine original CCC artifacts, uncover stories from Delaware’s past, and take part in hands-on games and activities . Learn what life was like for young men who worked, lived, and learned together while helping build and conserve parks, forests, roads, and other important places across the country.

What did CCC workers use every day? What kinds of jobs did they do? And how did their work leave a lasting mark on Delaware ?

Come explore, play, and discover the answers with First State Heritage Park !

This hands-on program is geared toward elementary school-aged children, but the whole family is welcome.
