A Taste of Genealogy

About this event

Information to know before you come: We will meet in the Teen Room. Please bring your library card so you may log into one of the computers. A Taste of Genealogy is a collaborative experience where hobbyists like yourself help one another expand family trees using tools available through the Jacksonville Public Library. Library Staff and Library Volunteers will offer assistance to those who have no experience and would like to begin their family research journey. Adoptees are welcome. Ask the customer service desk for information on how to make an appointment for one on one assistance from library staff.

Pursuant to the Americans with Disabilities Act, accommodations for persons with disabilities are available upon request. Please allow 1–2 business days to process. Last-minute requests will be accepted, but may not be possible to fulfill. Please ask for Learning Services at 255-2665 or email JPLprograms@coj.net.
