About this event
Whether it's been years since you last sewed or you've never touched a needle and thread in your life, this is the perfect opportunity to sew! Join us for an afternoon of sewing by piecing together simple shapes into patchwork. Fabric and sewing supplies will be provided. This is a social sewing meet-up rather than a formal class; our volunteer instructor, Wendy, will help with getting started and basic machine setup while everybody learns from each other and has fun together. Ages 13+
Please note: The library has a limited number of sewing machines, so participants will take turns and share during the class. If you prefer to have your own machine, you’re welcome to bring it as long as you’re already comfortable using it.
