Guided Hike at Sawnee Mountain

Take a hike with us at Sawnee Mountain! It's not too late to get outdoors to admire the fall leaves. Registration required.

Take a hike with us off-site at the Sawnee Mountain Preserve to the Indian Seats at the top of Sawnee Mountain. A Sawnee Mountain Preserve Naturalist will guide the way and teach us about the mountain, the flora, and the history of the area as we climb.

We will meet the Naturalist at the Bettis Tribble Gap Road trailhead at 9:50 a.m., and the hike will begin at 10:00 a.m. This event is weather-dependent and will be postponed if the weather is unfavorable.

This event is for Adults Only. Registration is required.

Participants will be required to sign the Sawnee Mountain Preserve waiver of liability.

Please wear appropriate attire and footwear, and please make sure to pack water and snacks to fuel your journey

Hike Information :

0.8 miles up and back, for a total of 1.6 miles

Moderate difficulty

30–40 minutes to Indian Seats

Another 30–40 minutes back to trailhead
