About this event

Families and educators are invited to join Georgia Sensory Assistance Project (GSAP) for a four-part webinar series focused on practical transition topics for learners who are deafblind. Each one-hour content session will focus on a specific transition topic. Two weeks after each content session, families will be privately invited to an optional—but encouraged—virtual Community of Practice (CoP) Q&A and work session with GSAP staff. These family-only sessions provide an opportunity to ask questions, discuss individual needs, and apply what was covered. Scheduled topics are included below: Exploring Your Path to Employment Content Session: September 24, 2026 Beyond School: DBHDD & Medicaid Waiver Supports Content Session: November 19, 2026 Planning for the Future: Guardianship, Trusts & Legal Considerations Content Session: January 28, 2027 Healthcare Transition: Taking Charge of Your Health & Future Content Session: March 25, 2027
