About this event
EpicFest is an extraordinary, free literary festival that joyfully connects children and families with books and the people who write them through activities that encourage a love of reading and learning. Nationally-recognized children’s authors and illustrators will share their latest books, experiences, and passion for libraries with kids of all ages.
This year's featured authors include Ashley Belote, Ben Clanton, Brittany J. Thurman, Kimberly Wilson, T.Z. Layton, Phuc Tran, Susie Yi, and Winsome Bingham.
In addition, there will be hands-on literacy activities, Ed's Dinos, face painting and balloon artists, book giveaways, and more.
There will be a special free performance of If You Give a Mouse a Cookie at noon in the McColl Family Theatre, and a special musical performance by Lucky Diaz at 3 p.m.
