Art Education: Rug Hooking Workshop

About this event

Join local artist, Erin Peacock, for a beginner-friendly rug hooking workshop. You will learn the basics of this beautiful, time-honored craft as you create your own small piece of fiber to display in your home or use as a coaster. Erin will guide you through each step of the process, sharing techniques and tips to help you feel confident as you hook. Think of this workshop more like a mini retreat - a chance to slow down, enjoy a morning of making, and connect with your creativity in the company of a small, welcoming group. All tools and materials will be provided to use during the workshop and you'll be able to choose from a variety of colors to make the project. No previous experience is necessary. Erin cannot wait to share this wonderful craft with you!
