Every library has a story—and so do the people who use it.
As Myers Park Library celebrates its 70th anniversary , we invite you to share your favorite library memories. Everyone has a story worth sharing. In this interactive 90-minute program, you'll explore the art of storytelling through conversation and listening. Share a favorite memory, contribute to the anniversary scrapbook, practice interviewing a fellow participant, or learn simple ways to record and preserve stories for future generations.
Your story might be about a favorite book or librarian, bringing your children to the library, learning something new, meeting a friend, finding help when you needed it, or simply discovering a welcoming place that became part of your life.
Join us as we celebrate 70 years of Myers Park Library through the stories of the people who have made it their library. No storytelling or recording experience is necessary—just bring a memory you would like to share.
