About this event
For readers of all ages
Join us as we embark on this intergenerational book discussion group at the Deanwood Neighborhood Library. We will discuss popular and classic children’s chapter books. This group is open to children, teens, families, adults and seniors - anyone who has read the chosen book and and wants to respectfully talk about it with a diverse group of neighbors.
We will meet on select Sundays at the Deanwood Library from 2-3 to discuss the following books:
Nov.15, 2026: The Birchbark House by Louise Erdrich
Jan. 17, 2027: The Watsons go to Birmingham - 1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis
March 21, 2027: Matilda by Roald Dahl
May 16, 2027: Front Desk by Kelly Yang
July date tbd: As Brave as You by Jason Reynolds
September 19, 2027: Sideways Stories from Wayside School by Louis Sachar
