Art Workshop: Painting Dualities

About this event

Create two paintings that explore harmony and balance through the contrast of light and dark. Experiment with color mixing to show how opposing forces can complement each other artistically.

You will make two small pieces of art that will pair with each other.

Drop by the Brambleton makerspace from September to November, Monday through Friday, 2 to 4 p.m., to meet the artist, watch him at work, and maybe even join him in creating art.

The artist will be leading three programs at Brambleton Library:

Creating Cartoon Characters with Personality on Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m.

Finding Nature in Mixed Media on Saturday, October 24, 11 a.m.

Painting Dualities on Saturday, Nov. 21 at 10:30 a.m.
