About this event
The Diamond Art Circle is a NEW community craft meetup for diamond art beginners and enthusiasts alike. Known as "diamond art" or "diamond painting," this craft requires the crafter to place tiny diamonds or gems, called "drills," onto a sticky canvas to create a picture. It is a relaxing and satisfying craft that will quickly become your new obsession. Join us at the Fort Mill Library to work on your current diamond art project, learn tips and tricks, and meet other fellow diamond art fans. Bring your current diamond art project to work on or receive help getting started if you have never diamond painted before. If you're interested in being on our contact list for dates and more information, please complete this Google Form (copy & paste link into web browser): https://forms.gle/tJfKDLRnk1pDAtHEA Diamond art kits can be purchased from major craft retailers such as Hobby Lobby or Michaels, and they are also available on Amazon. Simply drop in on Monday, November 2nd from 4:30 PM-6:30 PM. No registration is required. This program aligns with YCL's arts and creativity literacy framework, which addresses the ability to understand styles, techniques and the ways to discuss art. Included within this concept is the ability to talk about the creative process as an artist.
