About this event

Calling all wiggly giggly itty-bitty bookworms! Join us for stories, songs, and activities for children ages birth through 3 and their caregivers. Fall Session II will begin on October 21st and will run through November 4th--a total of three story time meetings. Register online or call (803) 684-3751, starting October 7th. This program aligns with YCL’s family literacy framework, which addresses the ability to incorporate whole families into activities between parents and children in order to build formative developmental skills; YCL’s information and media literacy framework, which addresses the ability to seek, evaluate, use, and create information effectively to achieve personal, social, occupational, and educational goals; and YCL’s social and emotional literacy framework, which addresses the ability to “read,” recognize, and respond appropriately to emotions and feelings in oneself and in others; likewise learning how to build and maintain respectful relationships.
