Riverbanks Zoo: Unearthing Ancient Animals

About this event

In ages long past, different animals roamed the earth. Megalodons swam in the sea, and pterosaurs soared in the skies. Join us in a journey to the past as we unearth these and other ancient animals to learn more about them and some of their current counterparts. Participants will observe biofacts, explore through hands-on activities, and be introduced to a dino-mite reading list to help them dig up more about prehistoric creatures at the Lake Wylie Library! For children ages 6-11. Limit 25 children. If you have multiple children please do separate registrations for each. This program aligns with YCL's information and media literacy framework, which addresses the ability to seek, evaluate, use and create information effectively to achieve personal, social, occupational and educational goals.
