About this event
This month, The People’s Law School will focus on the protections provided by the Fourth Amendment. Understanding the Fourth Amendment is important as it protects people from unreasonable government searches and seizures. It requires warrants to be based on probable cause and clearly specify what can be searched or seized, while evidence obtained illegally is generally not allowed in court. The People’s Law School is an initiative designed to bring the law out of the courtroom and into our community.
This program is presented by the Burlington County Bar Association in partnership with Burlington County Library System.
