Guided Tour @ NYS Museum

About this event

Join Gwen Saul, the curator of cultural anthropology at the NYSM for a behind the scenes look at the museum’s contemporary Indigenous art collection. Guests will learn about the origin and growth of the collection, trends, and themes in contemporary Indigenous art across New York, and have an opportunity to become familiar with contemporary Haudenosaunee and Shinnecock artists. Bring your questions and your inner art historian for this tour. Space is limited, registration is required.
