About this event
Calling all budding filmmakers!
The Public Library of Brookline is partnering with the Brookline Interactive Group to help young filmmakers fully create their own short films from the ground up - writing, filming, editing, and more!
From the 90-Second Newbery website: "The 90-Second Newbery Film Festival is an annual worldwide video contest in which young filmmakers create short movies that tell the entire stories of Newbery-winning books in just a few minutes (and adult help is okay). We are now in our sixteenth year!" Learn more on their website 90secondnewbery.com .
The deadline for film submissions is January 15, 2027.
Registration is required. For kids and tweens in grades 4+ only.
This event is generously sponsored by the Brookline Library Foundation.
