About this event
Parents are their children’s first teachers. In this workshop, parents and caregivers will learn about six early literacy skills along with five practices they can use to help their children develop those skills and be ready to read. Learning to read begins at birth and so does the impact of providing an early literacy-rich environment.
This program is designed for parents and caregivers who want to learn more about early childhood literacy. Children are welcome to attend, but childcare will not be provided.
2 hours. For parents and caregivers of children under 5 years. Registration is required and limited.
