Delaplaine Artist Showcase: Artist Talk with Vicki Clarkson

About this event

In partnership with the Delaplaine Arts Center, we welcome Vicki Clarkson for a conversation about the inspirations and creative process behind her mixed media paintings. Through the fluidity of water and pigment, Clarkson captures the ethereal moments of transition—when familiar forms soften, perspectives shift, and beauty emerges in unexpected ways. Explore how color, transparency, and the interplay of control and spontaneity shape her work, inviting us to see the world anew and discover beauty in the spaces between the known and the unknown.
