About this event

Jeffers Lennox, Assistant Professor of History at Wesleyan University, argues that the United States emerged through dynamic interactions with British provinces, Indigenous nations, and Canada. The Revolution, state and provincial formation, westward expansion, and the War of 1812 were deeply interconnected, demonstrating that America’s founding can only be fully understood within a broader North American perspective. Registration required. This program is part of the Big Read series.
