Snake Night

About this event

Celebrate the launch of Snake Night, local graphic novelist Ira Marcks' newest book for young readers, with a real snake night! Join Ira and Uncharted Wild for an open art session with a variety of slithery friends as your artistic inspiration. Talk with Ira about his books, learn about snakes, and try your hand at live model sketching! Signed copies of Snake Night will be available for purchase if desired, but this program is free to attend. Ira will offer a brief figure drawing lesson at the top of the hour, with the remainder of the time unstructured. Registrants are welcome to bring their own art supplies; paper, pencils, and pastels will also be on hand.
