About this event

The Carper Collaborative on Climate & Jobs will host its second Megawatts & Middle-Class Jobs policy conference on November 6 at the University of Delaware. America is entering a new era of rising electricity demand, with significant implications for our environment and our communities. The Collaborative's flagship program brings together leaders from business, government, academia, and the environmental community for a series of conversations on America's energy future and the workforce needed to build it. The conference will bring different perspectives together to examine the choices, tradeoffs, and opportunities involved in building America's energy future. This event will feature a student networking lunch from 12-1PM where students can talk directly with experts in environmental policy and workforce development about AI, data centers, growing energy demand, and the jobs and skills needed to support it all. REGISTER HERE Featured participants include: Christine Todd Whitman, former U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Administrator and New Jersey Governor Neil Chatterjee, former Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Jon Schnur, CEO of America Achieves
