About this event

Join us for light refreshments and open conversation about death and dying, facilitated by Here to Hear interfaith chaplains. Talking about death is considered taboo in many cultures — and yet death is a fact in all our lives, and we benefit from being able to talk about it. Death Cafés offer one possible solution to this dilemma; it offers an open invitation to explore our experiences and beliefs, not any particular viewpoint. Attendees speak for themselves, and other attendees listen and engage respectfully.

The goal of a death cafe is to increase awareness of death in order to discover a deeper appreciation of living.

Accessibility Notice : We strive to make our events accessible. To request a disability accommodation and/or language services, contact the department listed in the "Contact Info" pane on the right. Please allow at least two weeks to arrange accommodation.
