Author Talk: Sandy Bailey - She's On to Something

About this event

Sandy Bailey joins us to discuss her debut novel She’s On to Something . When hard-charging SEC prosecutor Jaye Brannigan stumbles onto a church-based investment scam draining millions from working-class families, she knows the case could make—or end—her career.

Queer, outspoken, and already targeted by a hostile administration, Jaye follows the money from Boston to New Mexico, uncovering a web of religious patriarchy, financial fraud, and offshore secrets. As the danger mounts, so does the temptation to guard her heart—especially when a magnetic woman pulls her toward connection just as everything else threatens to unravel.

Sandy will appear in conversation with her wife, Liz Nania, the inspiration for the character of Rose. This program is presented in partnership with Rozzie Bound. This program is presented in partnership with Rozzie Bound. Copies of the book will be available to purchase at the event.
