About this event
Join the City of Boston Archaeology Program in exploring Allston-Brighton's history from the ground up! Learn about how archaeologists choose where to dig, what excavation has already happened in Allston-Brighton, which parts of the neighborhood may have potential for archaeology, and what you can do to protect these finite and irreplaceable historic resources.
The City Archaeology Program was founded in 1983 to protect Boston's irreplaceable archaeological resources. Boston has hundreds of known archaeological sites in the City's borders.
