About this event
Our hybrid group will discuss The Boston Way: Radicals Against Slavery & The Civil War by Mark Kurlansky. An untold story of Civil War Era pacifists in Boston who led the fight to end slavery without violence and war. This book asks and answers the question: how do good people find the courage to resist and end the greatest evil in their country?
Facilitator Kevin Murray will lead the discussion. Email roslindale@bpl.org to register. A limited number of copies are available to borrow at the Circulation Desk or to purchase from our community partner Rozzie Bound Books .
This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Roslindale Branch Library .
