About this event

The first of four classes introduces honeybee biology, essential equipment and hive inspection techniques to help participants understand how to manage healthy colonies throughout the year. A smoker demonstration provides practical insight into working with bees, and participants are encouraged to wear protective clothing, including closed-toe shoes and long sleeves. Registration includes workshop materials and lunch, with space limited to 30 participants. Advance registration is required, and additional fees apply for late registration.
