Sunshine Bee: Community Quilting for a Cause

About this event

Join the Sunshine Bee, the charitable arm of the Garden State Quilters Guild, and help create handmade quilts and support pillows for those in need throughout our community. At each session, participants will work with pre-cut fabric kits provided by the guild to sew quilts that are later donated to local hospitals, veteran organizations, Habitat for Humanity, group homes, and more. Last year alone, over 250 quilts and 200 support pillows were distributed to bring comfort and care to others. All skill levels are welcome! This is a welcoming space to share skills and give back. Participants may bring their own sewing machine or choose to hand-sew support pillows.
