About this event

The Chinese-Speaking Social Series is a monthly program at the Livingston Public Library that provides an opportunity for Chinese-speaking residents and community members to connect, socialize, and share cultural experiences. Each program features a different theme or activity while creating a welcoming space for conversation, friendship, and community connection. This month’s gathering will focus on Chinese painting and calligraphy, featuring a special presentation and professional sharing on the appreciation of these traditional Chinese art forms. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the beauty and cultural significance of Chinese painting and calligraphy, followed by light refreshments, and informal conversation with friends and neighbors. All are welcome to attend and enjoy an evening of culture, conversation, and community at the library.
