About this event

Join EcoAmbassadors to learn how to prepare meals that reduce waste and support a healthy planet!

Learn how small changes in your kitchen add up to major changes in the livability of our community. Discover the single greatest thing you can do for you and your family to eat more sustainably, plus how to manage food waste to reduce greenhouse gases. That methane is nasty stuff!

Please register to attend this in-person event. Contact cpak@alexlibraryva.org for more information.

EcoAmbassadors act as amplifiers for city and county climate action programming by engaging with community members and encouraging residents to take more action to make our neighborhoods and homes healthier and more livable. Focus areas include energy conservation and electrification, multi-modal transportation, and waste reduction. The EcoAmbassador program is managed by EcoAction Arlington and the Virginia Cooperative Extension in partnership with Arlington County and the City of Alexandria.
