Carefull Knit & Crochet

About this event

Contribute to Barrett Branch’s fiber arts group making scarves to donate. Visit our display in honor of America250 and our work to build a community of care. Add your scarf to the collection.

To celebrate the 250 years since the Declaration of Independence, Care full Knit and Crochet has created a handcraft display representing our continued care for our historic and diverse community. Please feel free to leave your own handmade scarf on the table near the display.

We get together the first and third Thursday of each month to work on projects that will be donated to groups doing good work. All skill levels welcome. Bring your own materials if you like, but supplies and instructions for projects will be provided.

Come to a Thursday afternoon session or contact mzimmerman@alexlibraryva.org or 703.746.1714 to learn about current projects and how to get involved.
