About this event

Join us for a session of creativit y and fun! Learn how to decorate your very own silk scarf which you can take home at the end of class. We will be using Sharpie markers to draw patterns on the fabric and then use rubbing alcohol to create a watercolor/tie dye effect. This technique results in a variety of colorful patterns. No special skills are required. We will provide all of the materials, including the scarves. Please wear older clothing that you don’t mind getting stained—just in case.

Instructor: Robin Carroll-Mann

The program is free and is open to adults and teens (ages 13+). Attendance is limited, and registration is required.

Because spaces are very limited, we request that you not sign up for this class if you attended a previous session.

The scarves pictured here were all made by students in a previous session of this class.
